Amber and Jet have been worn by Witches and other magickal people for millennia…This necklace has been designed and created by Witch Joseph using 6mm Jet beads and 6mm certified authentic Baltic Amber beads. (There is always some variation in the sizes and shapes of beads made from magick materia such as Amber…which is part of it’s beauty.) Combined with 6mm Sterling Silver accent beads.
This necklace uses a lovely autumnal orange amber (cognac). Jet and Amber are believed to cultivate and channel high vibrational energies for magick and healing…both derived from the decomposed and fossilized remains of trees from millions of years ago (the Jet deposits were formed more than 150 million years ago.). Like Amber, Jet is known to produce an electrical charge when rubbed. It is said to correspond to the root chakra and is considered very grounding and protective and is believed to rid the energy field of negative energies. Baltic Amber dates to 44 million years ago and has been determined to be the fossilized resin from conifers of the Sciadopityaceae family. Amber is said to correspond to the solar plexus and is believed to circulate the healing warmth of the Light into the energy field of the wearer. Together Jet and Amber are believed to amplify ones energies in a healing manner and to assist in manifestation and the protection of the wearer..which has made this a favorite combination among Witches, Magicians and other metaphysical practitioners.
