The idea of All Snakes Day was first mentioned by Isaac Bonewits, a Druid and founder of Ár nDraíocht Féin…as a way to honor Ireland’s Pagan past and traditions. It is a way to reinterpret the snakes in the lore and stories surrounding Saint Patrick and the conversion of the country to Christianity.
Our All Snakes Day charm necklace features the iconic shamrock, an emerald color rhinestone and a snake of course. All are attached to a larger jump ring and then attached to a lobster claw that can easily be removed and attacked to other items…like a zipper or backpack.
