This necklace has been designed and created by Witch Joseph (strung on 0.30 bead stringing wire) using 6mm Jet beads imported from Russia, and 6mm-8mm certified authentic Baltic Amber beads. This necklace uses alternating Autumnal Orange Amber (cognac), Light Amber and Dark Amber…interspersed with lovely red coral beads (3-4 mm). Jet and Amber are believed to cultivate and channel high vibrational energies for magick and healing…both derived from the decomposed and fossilized remains of trees from millions of years ago (the Jet deposits in Russia were formed more than 150 million years ago.). Like Amber, Jet is known to produce an electrical charge when rubbed. It is said to correspond to the root chakra (the red coral also is believed to be aligned with the root chakra) and is considered very grounding and protective and is believed to rid the energy field of negative energies. Baltic Amber dates to 44 million years ago and has been determined to be the fossilized resin from conifers of the Sciadopityaceae family. Amber is said to correspond to the solar plexus and is believed to circulate the healing warmth of the Light into the energy field of the wearer. Together Jet and Amber (and with red Coral) are believed to amplify ones energies in a healing manner and to assist in manifestation and protection of the wearer..which has made this a favorite combination among Witches, Magicians and other metaphysical practitioners. This necklace is approximately 24 inches in length…completed with a Bronze tone Ankh (Kemetic hieroglyphic for Life) pendant (approximately 2”x 1”) on a decorative bronze tone lobster claw (for easy removal) which makes this an excellent choice for Pagan or Witch practitioners and ideal for ritual and ceremonial use…and will be a beloved addition to ones magickal talismanic pieces.
