You may use the locket in two different ways:

  1. Reservoir Method: Open the locket, unscrew the top of the reservoir, fill and close the reservoir, place one felt pad on top, close the locket, then gently tip to saturate the pad.
  2. Pad-Only Method: Leave the reservoir empty and saturate one or more felt pads with oil before placing them into the top of the locket. Set aside unused pads as refills.
