We are so excited about Pride Month this year (and every year)…the community has made so many advancements and there have been some great victories…but there’s so much that is happening in our world that is quite alarming as well…not the least of which are some of the SCOTUS rulings that are happening and expected to happen by the end of the month. In so many ways, there are energetic connections between Witches, Magickal people and the LGBT+ communities…we have historically been regarded as “other” and singled out in hate campaigns of various types over the centuries. Most disturbing is the rise in far right anti-LGBT rhetoric and organizing against us…that masked militia group in Idaho and the invasion of the drag queen story hour at that library in California…so frightening…and intended to be so in order to silence LGBT people…but we will NEVER let that happen. Let these things motivate us to become all the more committed and active in supporting the human rights and dignity of every person. Engage in magickal workings and in political activism to dismantle the hate in our world and to bring about the new world in which every human being is equal, valued, empowered and liberated…LOVE is always stronger than hate and fear and LOVE will prevail.
